Brooklyn Bridge Breeze

(Blue Bird blouse, EggCream skirt, Ax + Apple necklace, Velvetine bag, 80%20 heels)

Before heading out for an event in Greenwich, I walked outside and snapped these photos under the Brooklyn Bridge. The breeze from the water and the trains going by had an ethereal affect. Talk about major hair action! For my evening out, I went with one standout piece: this gorgeous EggCream skirt. I love supporting local NYC designers and right now, I’m obsessed with EggCream! They’re clothes are simple, but there are very cool cuts and lines, making it more a work of art. I love how this coral skirt has the perfectly hip hugging black pieces attached to it. It really is one of the most flattering, and unique, skirts I own. I paired it with a very simple sheer button down, my most comfortable heels, and classic black jewelry. In New York, I always make sure to tuck a pair of ballet flats in my purse for the walk home!! Photos by Kim of Eat Sleep Wear!

I think it is so cool of you to find small designers to support. πŸ™‚ and I love the art of making clothes! not just clothes – a work of art. that is wonderful.

Now that’s what I call ‘standout piece’ – the structure is stunning. If this skirt was in my wardrobe, I think I’d rarely wear anything else!
