WATCH MY VIDEO!

I am extremely excited to be the face for the Olsenboye Spring ’11 campaign video! Olsenboye, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s exclusive line for JC Penney, has launched their spring campaign using bloggers/style icons, and I feel so lucky to be a part of it. For the shoot, I chose two very “me” Olsenboye looks. First I went with a cool everyday look: boyfriend shorts and a bohemian knit top. For a little bit more girly and feminine look, I went with a beautiful little white dress with a leather waist belt. I had the best time shooting here in LA. We also had an amazing creative director behind it, Steven Baillie! The entire crew was so awesome and fun… definitely one of my favorite shoots. Another video launches later next month featuring all of us bloggers for this campaign (Jazi, Caylee, Oliva, and Karla) so stay tuned!

S’Agaro Spain ROADTRIP!

Zoey’s dog, Scoobs, loves me…

On the road with Albert and Zoey! Listening to Howard Stern. Oh yeah!

Wearing: MANGO sunglasses, Forever 21 scarf, Stylesofia striped top, Promod blazer, SOLD Design Lab jeans, J.Crew flats, Givenchy bag

The most beautiful villa ever!

I got Crusto again that morning! Bad habit!

Behaving like 2 year olds in the playground haha!

Zoey, Albert, and I took a roadtrip from Barcelona to S’Agaro and we stayed at their gorgeous beach house! It was just over an hour drive with beautiful views of the mountains! Once we arrived, my jaw literally dropped. S’Agaro is seated right on the coast and is like the Malibu of Spain, but like a million times more good looking hehe. The coast is lined with gorgeous villas and restaurants. The views are incredible and so serene. With it being early spring, our stay in S’Agaro was very calm and quiet, just the way I like it. It was a perfect escape from the city. As you can see, Scoobs (Zoey’s dog) and I got along very well. He’s too cute for words!! We took him for a long walk and eventually ventured out at 5pm to get meat and veggies to grill in the house. Because of siesta in Spain, most restauarants and supermarkets don’t open until 5pm. After snacking on cream cheese and potato chips like crazy people (i mean, waiting till 5pm for food was excrutiating after the long walk), we did eventually get ourselves food. Zoey cooked us up a delicious dinner of steak, Spanish sausages, and veggies. It was AMAZEBALLS! I had a wonderful, relaxing stay in S’Agaro. It’s so hard to describe the area. It’s just out of a fairytale book or something. I recommend everyone to go if you ever get the chance! I am so grateful to have had Zoey and Albert take me there. It was an unforgettable, eye opening experience!

From Day to Night

Wearing: MANGO sunglasses, H&M shirt, American Apparel Skirt, Vintage belt and coat, Ferragamo flats

My babe ZOEY!

With the MANGO team at MANGO headquarters! I love these girls so much!

Went out for Japanese food with friends! So yummy!

Stumbled upon a random bar with a too small bathroom with absolutely no toilet paper.

See, told you I’d bring this skirt on my trip! I walked around the city alone one morning to snap some street shots. It was the most refreshing and relaxing thing ever. The weather here is so perfect during the day with the sun out. Only at night do I bundle up in a scarf and wool coat. I am so happy I’m staying with Zoey here in Barcelona. Getting to see the city with someone who actually lives here is amazing. We went out with her friends to a local Japanese restaurant. They are so fun! After gorging on mushroom balls and miso soup, the girls tossed me into a cab and before I knew it, we were at a random bar, had a bit too much to drink…. and I spilled a drink all over my skirt. Still wondering how I’m going to wash the darn thing. Anyways, we are each from different countries so it was interesting to hear everyone’s stories. And for us to all be here in Barcelona is crazy! I’m glad I got to meet these ladies and become friends. Another reason to come back and visit Europe! Enjoy our crazy night shots… I left the scary ones for my eyes only 🙂

Alive in Spain

Zoey and I got Albert to take out photos hehe!

Wearing: Jil Sander, J.Crew ballet flats, MANGO sunglasses, Givenchy bag

My British style icon ZOEY of Make Shift Model. I love her to death!

Cappuccino at my favorite little cafe Crusto!

I carry around this little English Spanish dictionary. Have I used it yet? Nope.

FOOD FOOD FOOD. Spaniards and their bread. SO GOOD.

Playing around at Zoey’s house! I’m wearing the sequin dress she designed for her new label, Disco Pony! I’m in love with it! We went out and and made a beautiful video around the city (shot by Zoey’s filmmaker fiancee, Albert)! I cannot wait to see the final result!

GAUDI architecture!

Went to dinner with Denni of Chic Muse the other night! She has already flown back out to Mexico and I miss her so so much already! Had an amazing time eating super thin pizza and ordering ridiculously expensive beer at the hotel haha.

SUAREZ! I pass this nearly everyday here. It’s a jewelry store here in Barcelona.

More food! Anchovy pasta… the smell was a bit overwhelming haha!

I have currently moved from the gorgeous Hotel Omm to the even more gorgeous home of my good friend Zoey, of the blog Make Shift Model. It’s really just about 2 blocks from the hotel and it is like a palace! Zoey and her fiancee Albert have been incredibly nice and have really made me feel at home here in Barcelona. I have been having a wonderful time working with MANGO this week and now I’m free on holiday for pretty much the rest of the week! I have been spending my time roaming, taking a ridiculous amount of pictures, and trying all the different types of food. Also, I am obsessed with the coffee here!
I’ve been meeting so many amazing people here and made such great friends, making this trip unforgettable. For the rest of the week, we’ve made plans for hitting up the beautiful beach and possibly squeezing in some much needed shopping. I honestly don’t know what to buy here though. Hoping to find some vintage. As for my wardrobe, luckily I packed a few pairs of ballet flats. Perfect for the massive amounts of walking I’ve been doing. I will definitely keep you updated on the rest of my travels here in Spain!

But for now, continue to VOTE for my MANGO looks HERE! Thank you to all who have already done so!
