Exposed

Photograpy: Dylana Suarez

Wearing a burgundy Rory Beca Spring ’11 blouse.

Here I am photographed by my wonderful and totally multitalented sister Dylana. Gaahh I cannot believe she can simply pick up a camera any time, any place and create such beautiful photographs…with absolutely no training. And she makes it so easy on me. She tells me to just “stand here…and move around a little.” Being the good little sister that I am, I do what I am told, and voila… she creates art in less than 5 minutes. I’m shocked at their vulnerability and rawness. Completely natural and ethereal. Just the way I like them.

Your sister is very talented, I love her pictures. She has a great model as well 😉 I think it’s great that you take each others pictures sometimes – seems like the perfect system!

i’m not surprised at all, actually. having a twin sister, i know that the person who takes the best photos of me – and vice versa – is the person closest to me, the one who picks up on the nuances and subtleties of my facial expressions and movements, and who knows just when to press “click”! that said, these photos are indeed breathtaking, but that’s probably also because your sister seems like a creative, open-minded lady with a natural talent. how lovely is that? 🙂

Dylana’s photography is truly amazing & as you said, raw yet hauntingly beautiful. I adore every pose and shot, it’s amazing how you can create such artistic and vulnerable photos with a simple red blouse and rings..that’s when you know you’re so talented. You and your sis will always be my most fave&inspirational style icons ;).

Burgandy! I’m beginning to fall for the color. This top is a gorgeous shade of it, it would be really pretty as nail polish! Ooh with brown leather wedges and that color as toe polish. A girl can dream…
